Purchasing Analyst

Manage purchasing operations by preparing purchase orders based on sales performance and restocking plans to ensure optimal inventory levels and healthy stock turnover. This role is responsible for supplier coordination, shipment tracking, cost analysis, price setting, inventory updates, and performance reporting. You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to analyze best-sellers, optimize reorders, maintain a 30–45 day turnover cycle, and proactively prevent dead stock through data-driven decisions.

• 1. Prepare purchase orders based on sales data and restock planning
• 2. Follow up with suppliers on order confirmation, payment, and fulfillment
• 3. Track shipment status daily from international vendors
• 4. Analyze cost structures and calculate profitable selling prices
• 5. Update Google Sheets and Looker dashboards with inventory, pricing, and quantity data
• 6. Support the Purchasing Manager with price research and best-seller analysis, and recommend re-orders
• 7. Prepare weekly reports on purchasing operations and inventory performance
• 8. Maintain a healthy stock turnover cycle (target 30–45 days)
• 9. Prevent dead stock by recommending price adjustments or clearance strategies
