About the Role
Join our engineering team to build SASOM's React Native mobile app. You'll work on features that connect buyers and sellers, enable seamless transactions, and create delightful user experiences. We ship fast, iterate based on user feedback, and take pride in clean, maintainable code.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features for our React Native mobile app
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Optimize app performance and user experience
- Integrate with our backend APIs and third-party services
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Debug and fix issues across iOS and Android
- Contribute to our shared component library
- Stay current on React Native best practices
- Collaborate with the product team on feature requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years of React Native development experience
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Experience with React Native CLI and Expo
- Familiarity with state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and async programming
- Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Published apps on App Store or Google Play
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Experience with Firebase or AWS is a plus
